The Radio Range man nabbed in connection with the killing of Edwin James and Zephaniah ‘Zephy’ Joseph appeared in the St. John’s Magistrates’ Court before magistrate Ngaio Emanuel yesterday.
Maxmillian Roberts, 23, was arrested and charged on Wednesday, for the shooting deaths of James and Joseph; who were both shot on July 20. James of Yorks died on the spot, while Joseph succumbed to his injuries, after spending a few weeks in hospital.
According to reports, the victims were sitting under a shed at Zephy’s Tyre Repairs on All Saints road, when the perpetrator opened fire, hitting them both.
Roberts has been remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison.
He is scheduled to return to court on September 2.
James became the nation’s eighth homicide and ‘Zephy’ the tenth.
